At Sun Family Psychiatry, I take a holistic, family-centered approach to mental health, recognizing that each child is a unique individual embedded within a network of relationships and experiences. Rooted in evidence-based practices, care is personalized to address not just symptoms, but the underlying emotional and developmental needs of your child. Services Provided
Medication Management
I provide medication management using treatments that are supported by scientific evidence. I engage in open and collaborative discussions with patients and their families to weigh the benefits, risks, and alternatives of medication options. One objective is to minimize the number of medications required to effectively manage each patient's condition. The ultimate goal is to create a tailored treatment plan that meets the individual needs of the patient. For children and adolescents, it's essential for parents to be actively involved and present during appointments.
Psychotherapy
Therapy is a crucial part of treatment. I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP), play therapy, family therapy, and other supportive psychotherapies.
